ADMINISTRATIVE

  1. Maintaining personal file of faculty and students.
  2. Maintaining leave records.
  3. Correspondence with the college staff, other departments Delhi University and other agencies.
  4. Admission Activities
    • Preparation and approval of prospectus, advertisement.
    • Maintaining bills on sale of prospectus.
    • Scrutinizing of application form
    • Issue of roll no. to selected candidates.
    • Collect answer sheets evaluated from the Delhi University.
    • Prepare batch wise selection list of candidates.
    • Medical examination of selected students.
    • Fees collection of students and disbursing to various departments.
    • Writing and dispatching letters student's parents.
    • Distribution of stipends to interns after getting it sanctioned.
    • Issue of bonafide certificates of scholarship specifying fees and student's performance.
    • Maintaining records of meetings.
    • Collecting results of examination and maintaining records of mark sheet.
    • Issuing provisional certificate to students.
    • Maintaining records of pulse polio immunization program.


ACADEMIC

  1. Preparing orientation plan (course planning, clinical subject wise, orientation, project work etc.)
  2. Preparing weekly time table for students (both subject wise and class wise).
  3. Scheduling and arrangement of field visits made by staff.
  4. Maintaining details of lecturer such as phones, address, number of lecture given, subject taken, arrangement of external lecturer classes.
  5. Maintaining the record of field visit, meeting conference, or other activities attended by students and staff registers.
  6. Maintaining record to keep indexing on student's project work, seminar report or any other research report.
  7. Maintaining and making attendance sheet of student in every area (class room, hostel, lab, wards).
  8. Teaching staff has to conduct and evaluate examination, periodic tests.
  9. Maintaining health record of students.
  10. Guidance and counselling of student nurses.
  11. Maintaining inventory of stock in store such as linen store, medical store, general store, equipment store, SNA, mess.
  12. Maintenance of lab.
  13. Conducting workshops.
  14. Continuing in service education.
  15. Arrangements of internal and external examination.
  16. Arrangements of summer field experience duty for students and teachers.
  17. Maintaining students make up duty (if the student miss clinical area for more than 14 days then if student is marked as absent, she has to complete the same number of duties missed by her.)
  18. Making payment to external lecturers as per lecture unit.
  19. Making payment to external lecturers as per lecture unit.
  20. Maintaining personal work diary (daily / week).
  21. Physical verification of stock at periodic intervals and maintenance of stock register.


HOSTEL

  1. Hostel in charge maintains inventory record of items present in the hostel.
  2. Furniture and furnishing - maintenance repair and ordering of replacement.
  3. General cleanliness of hostel and immediate surroundings.
  4. Assigns duties to workers.
  5. Allocation of hostel rooms to staff and students.
  6. She will see the sanitation and cleanliness of the hostel.
  7. She will take surprise rounds in the hostel and maintain discipline.
  8. She will check the visiting hours.
  9. Maintaining records of complaints and corresponding with PWD so as the action is taken in time.
  10. Physical verification of stock at periodic intervals and maintenance of stock register.


MESS

  1. Mess in charge maintains inventory record of items.
  2. Assigns duties to workers.
  3. She will see to the sanitation and cleanliness of mess.
  4. Supervises preparation and distribution of meals to the students.
  5. Maintains monthly record of expenditure.
  6. Takes daily attendance of students.
  7. Correspondence with PWD for maintenance of mess.


LIBRARY

  1. Librarian maintains records of books.
  2. Issue and return of library books.
  3. Entry of donated and complimentary copies.
  4. Binding of books whenever necessary.


AUDITORIUM
Maintenance of auditorium and keeping records of events.
