Department Of Occupational Therapy

1. The service is provided to individual or groups to both Inpatients and Outpatients.
2. From most acute to chronic phase.
3. Links up the gap from hospitalization to normal life.
4. Provides teaching & training to both medical and therapy students.
5. Also do work evaluation and disability evaluation.
6. The therapy program includes Adjunctive method e.g. (therapeutic activities / therapeutic exercises, different techniques, positioning, splinting, selective physical modalities and sensory stimulation), Enabling Methods, Purposeful Activities and Occupational Performance.
7. Occupational Therapy Services are being provided to the different specialties of medicine like Orthopaedic (Pre and post operative management). General medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Paediatrics, Skin, Sport injuries, Hand injuries, Geriatrics Burn & Plastic, Psychiatry, Developmental Disabilities, Learning Disabilities and Domiciliary rehabilitation.
