- Environmental Epidemiology and Public Health Protection

- Bio-Medical Waste management, including treatment and handling
- Provided expertise to Master of Industrial Hygiene & Safety course, Sardar Patel University, India which started India’s first course in collaboration with the Cincinnati University, USA. Teaching Assignments:

- Bio-Medical Waste Management in scores of healthcare establishments in Delhi – on going activity.
- Conducted more than 225 training programme since 1998 December on Bio-Medical Waste Management for Health Care Workers of Delhi, other places and nearly 7000 Health Care Workers have been trained so far.
- Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health is one of the few organizations in India, which have expertise in Environmental Health. It has shared this expertise with the union ministry of health and family welfare, government of India in developing protocols on environmental health and safety in food and drug testing laboratories.
- The centre has published its research work in leading international and national journals such as International journal of Occupational and environmental health, European Journal of Oncology, and others.
