SERVICES

  • Providing fresh food cooked in inhouse kitchen for indoor patients, which include general as well as therapeutic diets like, full fluid diets, low protein, diabetic diet, salt restriction, high protein diets, uremic diabetic diets etc. (Average number of 1400-1600 diets provided everyday).
  • Dietary counselling provided to indoor patients as well as to outdoor patients regarding weight reduction, renal insufficiency, Diabetics, Hypertensive patients, Cardiac patients etc. (Average number 30-35 patients counselled per day).

  • Providing practical Dietetics training (internship of 3 months duration, to students sponsored by Delhi. Govt. Colleges (fees Rs. 500/- for three months).

  • Periodically nutrition classes are held for 3rd year PSM students.

  • Participation in nutrition awareness programs conducted for general population as on kidney day, Diabetic day, Breast feeding week, National nutrition month etc.
