OPD Services Days:-  Every Day (Monday to Saturday) 
Operative Services:- The Deptt. has 02 Modular OTs, 01 Emergency OT and 01 Minor OT (Monday to Saturday) 

Clinical and Academic Activities:-  All clinical and Academic activities of Department are conducted in Seminar room of the Department located at 2nd Floor, A& E Block + Academic Block Consisting of faculty rooms, doctor's rooms and departmental library is located at 5th Floor                           

Neuro Trauma Centre
A dedicated Neuro trauma unit with specialized facility to treat TBI, SCI in adult and pediatric patients is available at STC, which is extension of L.N. Hospital. This Neurosurgical unit is supported by two Neurosurgical specialist and six senior residents, posted form L.N. hospital in STC.

Services Available

  1. Total inpatients beds 86 out of which 06 beds are triage beds and rest are academic beds
  2. Rehabilitation deptt.
  3. An auditorium.
  4. Administrative facilities
  5. Hospital support services.


Emergency Services There is a 24 hours on call coverage for emergency service. The team constitute a first on call senior resident, a second on call specialist and consultant. All referral cases from Govt. and private hospital discussed with or seen by consultant and prompt decisions are made for the cases that require emergency attention.

Academic Activities The department has been sanctioned 02 seats of M.Ch. Neurosurgery course by affiliating university i.e. University of Delhi and is expected to commence by academic year 2021.
