  1. OPD is the face of the Hospital and reflects the quality care provided with due diligence, responsibility and care to patients visiting OPD for treatment, consultation, investigations etc. A well designed “Standard Operating Procedure”(SOPs ) for providing Holistic, Comprehensive, Tertiary level care is prepared by MO I/C OPD and operational in Main OPD Block under the guidance of worthy Medical Director, Director Admin, AMS OPD.
     
  2. The OPD Services at Lok Nayak Hospital is catering to a huge number of patients approximately 6000- 8000 on daily basis and the number of patients are likely to increase as the patients are coming from different states and seek expert opinion from Learned Doctors/ Faculty and Staff members. The OPD services runs smoothly and commits to provide care to all visiting the same for treatment and management.
     
  3. A dedicated Help desk is stationed at the Ground floor of the Main OPD Block which provides assistance, wheelchairs and stretcher to the patients visiting OPD. Floor- wise the wheelchairs and stretcher are also provided for assistance of the patients. Security personnel are stationed at each and every floor for assistance, safety and security of all.
     
  4. The OPD has well designed system in place which is patient friendly and safety is of paramount importance. It provides both Broad and Super speciality services. The ramps, stairs, lift dedicated for patients are running smoothly. A well stationed registration counter is placed at the ground floor of Main OPD Block and separate counters for Male, Female, Senior Citizens, ANC patients, Specially abled is available and functional during OPD timings. Old registration counter is also stationed at the area near gate no: 04. Few registration counters like PAC, ART etc are stationed on their respective floors. A dedicated Senior Citizen Clinic is running on every Sunday excluding Gazetted Holidays and Pulse Polio Days.
     
  5. A dedicated COVID 19 Sampling and testing area is also available where the patients can be tested as per ICMR Guidelines. The OPD staff undergoes several training sessions from time to time and also NQAS is maintained as per norms desired.
     
  6. Several Departments are running new services to expand patient care. Special attention is given to the patient grievance, correction and remedy for the same at the earliest. The Office of AMS OPD and ANS OPD mantains and reviews all activities of OPD on daily basis. Contact Person:
  7. O/o AMS(OPD) also caters to the jail patients/Under Trail Prisoners (UTP) visiting Main OPD Block for OPD Consultation/investigations. The jail cases are referred by various jails and details entered in Main OPD Block O/o AMS (OPD) followed by making of OPD card and at IT Registration counter, thereby visiting respective Dept's OPD for Consultation/Investigation.
